these pictures are from "red day" or day one at disneyland. we were able to get into the park and hour early because we had a three day park hopper pass. i can't even put everything into words, so be prepared...there are lots of pictures! let me just say that not only are we spoiled to be here, but between aunt merritt and her wheelchair because of her torn achilles and grandma lady and her wheelchair, well...let's just say that this orton family doesn't know how to wait in line. we were spoiled to get to use the handicapped entrance on almost every ride. between that and the fast passes, we literally ran the whole day from one ride to the next.
we spent all day at the park and came back to our hotel for dinner. then the "big kids" went back to disneyland for more "big kid" rides and the fireworks. speaking of big kids. i was so nervous to lose ethan at disneyland - he tends to wander and make friends with anyone. so i bought ethan and davis these cute leash/backpacks for the week. ethan had enough scare in him that he stayed close the whole time and davis hated his leash but tolerated it. he was okay with it as long as papa lee had the other end of the leash. and back to "big kids" ... reagan and ethan were such "big kids". they loved the maderhorn (sp??) and they loved the thunder mountain. i couldn't ride on anything since "cinco" is on board, but apparently at one point on thunder mountain, reagan got nervous and just softly said "mommy". but by the time she got back to me...she was just fine!

What a fun trip! I make Kinsley wear a leash/backpack all the time because she has no fear of strangers. I've lost her several times in stores. My new motto: If you LOVE them- LEASH them!!! We LOVE going to the front of the lines with Kristi's wheelchair. However, SHE doesn't seem to like it nearly as much.
My word! I haven't checked blogs in a month and I have missed 4 FOUR posts from Jill!!! What a fun vacation. Zetta has a monkey backpack too. She doesn't like wearing it b/c she wants to hold it like a baby. Ok, going to go read the other 3 posts now...
